NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGIST (Casual) (JOB # 2017.0046)

  • Summary: Performs a variety of technical nuclear medicine procedures, under the direction of a Radiologist, using radiopharmaceuticals that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic and therapeutic studies according to established protocals and The Diagnostic & Treatment Center's broad scope nuclear materials license.
  • Required Qualifications: High school graduate. Satisfactory completion of an AMA-approved nuclear medicine program. ARRT (N), NMTCB (CNMT) certified or eligible for certification. BLS certification within three months of employment.
  • Desired Qualifications: Associate degree. Two to four years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Schedule: Casual, as needed, to cover shifts between 7am and 5pm. Plus rotating call every 4th weekend and every 4th week Monday-Friday.

RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST (Casual) (JOB # 2017.0037)

  • Summary: Under the direction of a Radiologist, but not requiring constant supervision, will perform a variety of technical radiographic procedures that require independent judgment, skill, and initiative when using ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis. Will produce quality exams and practice ALARA principles when delivering ionizing radiation doses.
  • Required Qualifications: Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technologist training in an AMA approved school. ARRT certified upon hire and maintain ARRT certification by meeting continuing education requirements. BLS certification within three months of employment, if not certified upon hire, and ongoing recertification. Licensed as a Radiographer through the State of Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services and ongoing recertification.
  • Desired Qualifications: Associate’s degree in a related field. Two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist. BLS certification upon hire.
  • Schedule: Casual, as needed, to cover variable shifts; plus weekend call rotation every 6th weekend.

ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST (Full Time - JOB # 2017.0034) & (Casual - JOB # 2016.0009)

  • Summary: Will utilize high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques for medical diagnosis. Will evaluate normal and abnormal anatomy and pathology to produce images for interpretation by a radiologist with findings documented using PACS, Kinetics, color images, or a combination of these. Will use independent judgment and initiative to determine if additional scanning is needed. Will also provide accurate needle guidance during special procedures as directed by physicians.
  • Required Qualifications: Completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program or equivalent AMA-approved medical program. ARDMS certified or eligible for certification in the categories of physics, abdomen, obstetrics/gynecology, and neurosonology. BLS certification within three months of hire, if not certified upon hire.
  • Desired Qualifications: Associate’s degree in a related field. Completion of a formal AMA-approved ultrasound program. ARDMS certified or eligible for certification in breast. Two years of experience as an ultrasound technologist.
  • Schedule:
       Full Time ~ Monday-Friday, 2-10pm. Plus call 1-2 nights per week 5pm-7am; every 3rd weekend 5pm Friday to 7am Monday; and 1-2 holidays per year.
       Casual ~ For coverage, as needed, between 7am and 5pm, Monday-Friday, plus call rotation every 5th weekend and 1-2 holidays/year, with 24/7 call on weekends/holidays, weeknight call starts at 5pm and ends at 7am the following morning.
