SUPERVISOR OF RADIOLOGY

JOB # 2018.0031

  • Summary: In addition to performing all job duties in his/her appropriate job description, the Radiology Supervisor will oversee General Radiology, CT, and MRI and will share the responsibilities over PACS and RIS maintenance which include billing, coding, order verification, and report validation.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program. 2-5 years of experience in primary job description. Demonstrated leadership experience. Credentialed by ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS. BLS certification within three months of employment if not already. Strong knowledge base of healthcare informatics such as PACS and RIS, among others.
  • Desired Qualifications: Undergraduate degree (BS or BA in Healthcare Management or related field).
  • Schedule: Full time, Monday-Friday, day shift, plus rotating leadership and PACS/RIS administrative call.

ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST

Casual - JOB # 2017.0034

  • Summary: Will utilize high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques for medical diagnosis. Will evaluate normal and abnormal anatomy and pathology to produce images for interpretation by a radiologist with findings documented using PACS, Kinetics, color images, or a combination of these. Will use independent judgment and initiative to determine if additional scanning is needed. Will also provide accurate needle guidance during special procedures as directed by physicians.
  • Required Qualifications: Completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program or equivalent AMA-approved medical program. ARDMS certified or eligible for certification in the categories of physics, abdomen, obstetrics/gynecology, and neurosonology. BLS certification within three months of hire, if not certified upon hire.
  • Desired Qualifications: Associate’s degree in a related field. Completion of a formal AMA-approved ultrasound program. ARDMS certified or eligible for certification in breast. Two years of experience as an ultrasound technologist.
  • Schedule: Casual for call rotation every 3rd weekend and PM weekly call every 3rd week for a 7-day period. Call includes 1-2 holidays/year; 24/7 call on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays; weeknight call starts at 5pm and ends at 7am the following morning.
