Diagnostic Imaging

  • Summary: Will perform sophisticated imaging procedures utilizing magnetic resonance imaging technology as prescribed by a radiologists. Will be responsible for room set-up, patient positioning, patient screening (safety interviews), knowledge of PACS, and quality control.
  • Required Qualifications: Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA approved school. ARRT certified or eligible for certification. BLS certification within three months of hire and continual recertification.
  • Desired Qualifications: Associate’s degree. Two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist. MRI certification.
  • Schedule: Full time; Monday-Friday; variable shifts covering day and PM hours; plus rotating call 2-3 nights/week and every other weekend.

  • Summary: Will be the entry point to the Radiology Department and responsible for registration data entry, scheduling, handling telephone calls, assisting with correspondence to medical providers and insurance representatives, and entering patient information into the computer to ensure smooth workflow and proper documentation into the Radiology Information System (RIS). Will greet patients as they arrive in the Radiology Department, be responsible for tending to patients and visitors in the Radiology waiting room as questions and concerns arise, and be responsible for relaying pertinent information to Radiology staff. Will check in/out, instruct, and assist patients in getting appropriately dressed and prepared for procedures and examinations performed in the Radiology department.
  • Required Qualifications: Six months of experience scheduling appointments in a clinic or hospital setting, or knowledge normally acquired through formal healthcare business services education and a course in medical terminology. BLS certification within three months of employment.
  • Desired Qualifications: Previous experience in a medical setting with direct patient contact. Experience as a radiology appointment coordinator. Completion of office software courses.
  • Schedule: Full time, Monday-Friday, varying shifts between 7am and 5pm.

  • Summary: Will utilize high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques for medical diagnosis. Will evaluate normal and abnormal anatomy and pathology to produce images for interpretation by a radiologist with findings documented using PACS, Kinetics, color images, or a combination of these. Will use independent judgment and initiative to determine if additional scanning is needed. Will also provide accurate needle guidance during special procedures as directed by physicians.
  • Required Qualifications: Completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program or equivalent AMA-approved medical program. ARDMS certified or eligible for certification in the categories of physics, abdomen, obstetrics/gynecology, and neurosonology. BLS certification within three months of hire, if not certified upon hire.
  • Desired Qualifications: Associate’s degree in a related field. Completion of a formal AMA-approved ultrasound program. ARDMS certified or eligible for certification in breast. Two years of experience as an ultrasound technologist.
  • Schedule:
       Full Time ~ Monday-Friday, 2-10pm. Plus call 1-2 nights per week 5pm-7am; every 3rd weekend 5pm Friday to 7am Monday; and 1-2 holidays per year.
       Casual ~ For coverage, as needed, between 7am and 5pm, Monday-Friday, plus call rotation every 5th weekend and 1-2 holidays/year, with 24/7 call on weekends/holidays, weeknight call starts at 5pm and ends at 7am the following morning.
